Meeting God's requirement for success.

Text: Joshua 1: 8 ....This book of the Law shall not depart from thy mouth; but thou shall meditate upon it day and night, that thou mayest to do all that is written in it.: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous and then, thy shall have good success.

Desiring success in any field, one needs to be qualified for it.

What disqualifies people from being successful?

Idolatry. This describes an excessive devotion or worship of anything more than the Almighty God. Thy shall have no other God before me… Exodus 20:3

Laziness: For laziness will bring about poverty. 1 Timothy 5: 8… If one does not provide for his house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. Proverbs 18:9…He that is slothful in work is a brother to him that is a great waster.
Theft: Zachariah 5:3……For everyone that stealeth shall be cut off. Theft in any form is unacceptable. Whether as an arm robber, pick pocket, manipulating of figures, and suppression of others to one benefit; is setting one self up for great failure.
Crooked business deals: Proverbs 17:13…..Whoso rewarded evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
