The Warfare ofJoyful Praise

Published on by Joseph Foray jnr

Text : 2 Chronicles 20:22

And when they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab and Seir......which came up against Judah......

A believer must have faith in the power of God.

Provoke the power of God in our lives through praises. High praises of Paul and Silas provoked God's presence and loosened their chains.

Ammon, Moab and Seir came up against Judah. Judah enployed singers and the enemies were overcome.

Praises humiliates Satan and his cohorts.

Prayer: May every wall of of Jericho come down as we begin to praise God.

Enemies of Praise.

1. Sin. (You cannot be praising God and living in sin).

2. Lack of Joy. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Nehemiah 8:10

3. Divine presence does not survive in a joyless and "praise less" environment. Philippians 4:4 Rejoice ever more.

4. Murmuring and complaining. Do not murmur as the people of old did and were destroyed. 1 Corinthians 10:10

Let us show appreciation to God. Praise him for his goodness in our lives. This opens doors to other blessings of God in our lives.
